theatre & film maker
I enjoy creating contemporary non-conforming and thought-provoking pieces that explore multi-layered identity, belonging and self love. As a multidisciplinary artist with a multicultural background, I believe in creative practices that are disruptive, reflect the complexities of human experiences and elevate silenced voices and stories from marginalised human beings. I love to blend drama with comedy and I’m not a big fan of labels, boxes and conventions.
THE ART THAT I DO
SOME OF MY PAST PROJECTS
MY ARTISTIC BACKGROUND
I practised performative arts in Belgium, Portugal and the Netherlands before making Ireland my new home. In 2022 I joined the ZID Theater in Amsterdam, taking part in the second generation of the FATE project (Future Academy on Tour in Europe) which culminated with Cargo H, a performance created by twelve artists with a refugee past or migration background. In 2024 I was awarded the prestigious Lord Puttnam Scholarship making my Director’s début for the short film Peggy. The film was premièred at the 70th anniversary celebration of the Cork International Film Festival and was part of the official selection of the 2025 Fastnet Film Festival. Later the same year, I was awarded the Graffiti Way Facilitator Training mentorship programme and became Assistant Director of Bandwidth, a youth theatre production by Graffiti Theatre Company. I graduated from UCC’s Higher Degree in Theatre and Performative Practices with first class honours in October 2024. Shortly after, I was selected by The Cork Theatre Collective to perform a work in progress, mentored by directors Katrina Foley and Al Dalton. In February 2025 I presented a short solo piece in Smock Alley Theatre as part of the Scene & Heard Festival. I am also writing poems in French and English which have been performed in Amsterdam and Cork, with my first self-produced short poetry film being screened in Venice and Lisbon.
DRAMA // MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
As a trained Youth Theatre Facilitator and a certified Athletics coach, my workshops are inspired by engaged pedagogy and encourage critical thinking, helping children and young adults find and express their own voice. I apply a holistic model in all my sessions including psychology, mindfulness, dance, voice, crafting and drawing.
